Ø DOL (Daily Oral Language) - We work on our editing skills and math review on Monday-Thursday. Your child’s DOL work will be sent home on Thursday night. Look over this page with your child to prepare for the test on Friday.

   We will continue practice for the ACT Aspire Test. Our class is scheduled to test on May 10th and 11th so please avoid those days when planning appointments.

Math Tests

~We will have a timed test each Thursday on the Fearsome 15 plus 5 easy facts. We will start out with 3 minutes and shave off a few seconds each week. Our goal is to know each fact within 3 seconds.


~We may have a small math quiz each Friday on skills we work on for morning work all week.


~Chapters 10 and 11 cover measurement. Skills covered:

Time, length, liquid volume, mass, perimeter, and area


Box Tops:

The Labels For Kids Program will end June 1, 2016. Please send in any labels you have collected ASAP. Thank you for your help in collecting labels in the past!
